On the last weekend of September (29–30 September), Knyaz Club together with Feldman Ecopark organised and successfully ran the medieval festival «Battle of the Clubs — Kniazha Sloboda Cup».
«Knyaz Junior» athletes took part in an international Modern Sword Fighting tournament as part of the «Call of the Heroes» festival held outside Kyiv at «Kyivan Rus Park».
We’re starting autumn on a sporty note! On 2 September we took part in the «Vyrskyi Hrad» tournament held in the town of Bilopillia.
On 26 August, Knyaz Club proudly presented to Kharkiv residents and guests of the city the authentic medieval camp «Kniazha Sloboda». To mark the opening we ran a small tournament.
Knyaz Club spent the midpoint of summer in Poland. On 11–15 July we took part in one of the largest and most heartfelt festivals in medieval reconstruction — the Battle of Grunwald, which originally took place on 15 July 1410.
For the first time, Knyaz Club becomes outright champion in the team divisions at the all-Ukrainian historical reconstruction festival «Stara Fortetsia», held in the town of Trostianets on 28, 29, and 30 June.
In early May — from 3 to 6 May — in Italy, on the edge of the town of Santa Severa, beside Santa Severa Castle on the shore of the Mediterranean, the HMB World Championship «Battle of the Nations» was held, and our club’s fighters took an active part.
Arena Park Medieval Entertainment Festival
From 9 to 11 March in Minsk, the 4th Open European Modern Sword Fighting Championship 2018 was held, with representatives from 17 countries.
On 10 March in Kyiv, the first 2018 training session of the Ukrainian HMB national team took place. Ten of our club’s members took part.
