In early May — from 3 to 6 May — in Italy, on the edge of the town of Santa Severa, beside Santa Severa Castle on the shore of the Mediterranean, the HMB World Championship «Battle of the Nations» was held, and our club’s fighters took an active part. Knyaz Club’s athletes are an unbroken part of the Ukrainian National HMB Team and represented the country in the 21 vs 21 division, while in the 5 vs 5 division team Ukraine-1 was made up exclusively of Knyaz Club fighters!

It was a wonderful experience and a serious challenge for the club. In the qualifying bouts Knyaz Club came out top of its group! After making it through the play-offs and reaching the finals we unfortunately stopped at 4th place. And we are proud of such a thoroughly worthy showing on the world stage!

In the 21 vs 21 division Ukraine’s National Team confidently reached the final and won silver, taking second place to the Russian team.
