Growing tournaments around the country is an important task for every club — it’s what popularises historical reconstruction. Knyaz Historical Reconstruction Club has never stood aside and is involved in running this tournament. What makes this one special is that it takes place in the small town of Bilopillia in the Sumy region — on the site of the former «Vyr» fortress. The tournament has been organised for several years running by our clubmates Alla Shovkoplias and Bohdan Kalinichenko.

Over the years they have brought many fighters and most of Ukraine’s clubs to the lists. Knyaz Club is always there. For us it is a very important tournament — one where we must always show our best, because nobody wants to lose at a tournament they helped organise!

So at this festival we won prizes in the following divisions:
Shield & Sword — Yurii Vlasenko (Knyaz Sumy) — 2nd place
Buckler & Sword — Borys Bashkatov (Knyaz Sumy) — 1st place
Yurii Vlasenko (Knyaz Sumy) — 2nd place
3 vs 3, Knyaz I — 1st place
Knyaz 2 — 2nd place
Next year we will definitely be back for this tournament — better prepared and with a bigger line-up!
