Knyaz Club took part in the international Historical Medieval Battle tournament «Buhurt Prime», held in the Principality of Monaco on 16 February — and «Knyaz» finished 3rd. Knyaz was the only Ukrainian club among the world’s 10 top teams.

«Buhurt Prime» is the tournament of the world’s strongest teams. Throughout the year, fighters from different countries take part in official «Buhurt League» tournaments and earn ranking points. At the end of the season the teams that have collected the most points get an official invitation to the league’s final tournament — «Buhurt Prime» — where the strongest team in the world is decided.

This year teams from England, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, France and Czechia took part.

The «Knyaz» team confidently came through the qualifiers and play-offs and reached the bronze final against British team «White Company». The match went to extra time; when it ended, «Knyaz» had one more fighter still standing.

It’s worth noting that «Buhurt Prime» was held under the patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco. Even the Principality has its own HMB team, «Grimaldi Militas» — though it isn’t yet among the world’s strongest.
