Two of Knyaz Club’s strongest and most experienced fighters represented our country at the «Tournoi des Flandres», held on 3–4 November in Tourcoing, France.
Iliias Vyshutin and Bohdan Vlasov reinforced and rounded out the lads of the London-based Invicta club. Thanks to this trip and to the joint work of both clubs on the lists as a single team, a first and very important step was taken toward firm friendship and cooperation between Knyaz Club and Invicta. An important step toward international friendship between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

On the tournament’s first day our lads had 7 bouts, and thanks to the right tactics and good teamwork the team came out top of its group.

On the second day there were another 3 bouts and, reaching the final, the lads unfortunately lost 2–1 in rounds and took an honourable 2nd place. Even so, a very good result for a brand-new, completely untested team line-up.

Iliias and Bohdan are very glad to have had such a remarkable chance — to gain priceless team-fighting experience with the lads from a foreign club, make new friends, and spend great time in excellent company!
